Щойно підписав документи для ратифікації Угоди про створення Спеціального трибуналу щодо злочину агресії Росії проти України.
Угода була підписана нещодавно між нашою державою та Радою Європи і тепер має бути оперативно ратифікована, щоб розпочати процес реального створення трибуналу. Доручив також якнайшвидше опрацювати та внести на розгляд Верховної Ради України необхідні законодавчі зміни, щоб з нашого боку все було забезпечено на сто відсотків заради повної реалізації угоди про створення трибуналу. Прошу народних депутатів розглянути це питання невідкладно.
Очікую і на швидке представлення командами Міністерства закордонних справ України та Офісу відповідного графіка роботи з партнерами для імплементації угоди про створення трибуналу та фактичного запуску інституції.
Уже цього року в Росії мають відчути, що їхня відповідальність за злочин агресії є неминучою і що реально розпочався міжнародний юридичний процес для притягнення Росії до відповідальності. Агресія є злочином, і дійсно невідворотне покарання Росії за цей злочин є глобальним інтересом всіх у світі, хто хоче для своїх людей мирного життя.

I have just signed the documents to ratify the Agreement on the Establishment of a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Russian Aggression Against Ukraine.
This Agreement was recently signed between our state and the Council of Europe and now needs to be promptly ratified to initiate the actual process of establishing the Tribunal. I have also instructed that the necessary legislative amendments be prepared and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine as soon as possible, so that everything on our side is fully in place for the complete implementation of the Agreement. I call on Members of Parliament to address this matter without delay.
I also expect the teams from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Office of the President to swiftly present a clear schedule for working with partners on implementing the Agreement and formally launching the institution.
Russia must already feel this year that its accountability for the crime of aggression is inevitable — and that the international legal process to bring it to justice has truly begun. Aggression is a crime, and the real, inevitable punishment of Russia for this crime is a matter of global concern shared by all who want a peaceful life for their people.
